On Wed. 23 May 2018, 17 participants including 5 Dutch ladies visited Ishikawa Brewery in Fussa city, Tokyo. Its origin goes back to 1863 and has more than 150 years’ tradition here producing locally brewed sake and beer. After the guided tour in English, sake tasting and Italian lunch, thanks to the owner’s kindness, we were invited to their traditional Japanese style residence with boys’ day decoration and with beautiful Japanese garden. In the environment with white washed storehouses and gigantic zelkova trees, we were healed with the grace of the nature.
