On Oct. 25, 2023, DLC lecture by Mrs. Anne Lande Peters was held in the morning at the Ambassador’s official residence.  50 members and guests gathered and listened to her talk on her special field of literary translation: Norwegian and Japanese dramas.  The lecture was planned in Japanese, but she added English summary spontaneously for non-Japanese audience.  Her husband, Theo Peters Charge d’Affaires ad interim made opening speech and now we know a little about the situation when they first met in Japan.  He kindly let us use the Residence and offered tea and coffee with sweets after the lecture.  We appreciate the generosity of the Embassy of the Netherlands and express our gratitude to warm hearted Mr. and Mrs. Peters.
