Our Second Cooking Session with Chef Ingmar Bos was held on 27 October 2025. The place was the same as the first session, the cooking studio in Libra of Minato Ward. 21 ladies gathered and cooked Ingmar’s autumn menu themselves under his direction. The classic Dutch Appeltaart with a touch of Yuzu was the first to cope with and it took most of the time. After the tart dish was completed into the oven, we started to prepare other things. Ingmar dished out for all of us. The starter soup was green peas à la française. It was prepared beforehand by him at home, because of the time restriction. The recipe is not very difficult to follow. The main dish was Venison steak with Port sauce on Maitake. The frozen meat was sent from Hokkaido. The lunch was concluded with a piece of the delicious Appeltaart. The rest of the tart was taken back to each family. Cooking and eating together, we enjoyed an autumn lunch with great Chef Ingmar Bos. Many thanks to him.
