On 3 December 2018, De Liefde Club held the Christmas Luncheon at Q.E.D.CLUB in Ebisu. 65 ladies gathered and also celebrated the 20^th anniversary of De Liefde Club. After Mrs. Ayako Tawara, our representative governor, gave the opening remark, Mrs. Natsuko Akiyama, the founder of the club, and Mrs. Sari Roels, the wife of the Minister, cut the cake made specially for the anniversary. The participants also had an exciting time at the bazaar table filled with cute handicrafts, delicious wine, and so on. We are grateful to many members for donating items to sell. The proceeds will be used to send some presents to the children of Oranda-jima House in Yamada-machi on Christmas and other occasions. As the finale, we sang ‘White Christmas’ together, and wished for a thriving future of 20-year-old De Liefde Club.
