De Liefde Club held Christmas Luncheon in French restaurant Chez Lui in Daikan-yama on 6 December 2024. It was also the special occasion to welcome Mme. Louise Beschoor Plug-Wesseling, wife of the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as our new honorary governor. After Mme. Beschoor Plug-Wesseling introduced herself, a small red bouquet was given to her as a token of welcome on behalf of all the members of De Liefde Club. Answering to our questions, she told us her active plan of taking lessons of Japanese archery ‘kyudo’ and ink painting ‘sumie’ while she lives in Japan. 50 participants enjoyed classic French cuisine and wine in the cozy room with a fire burning in the fireplace. As the finale, we all sang some Christmas songs together in a high Christmas spirit.
