On Friday 9th December, we welcomed Professor Masayoshi Tanishita of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Chuo University, as a lecturer for a JNS online lecture. The theme of the lecture was "Water and Bicycles Shaping the Netherlands". Prof. Tanishita talked about how people in the Netherlands have tackled water issues, and the infrastructure and policies that support the country's bicycle powerhouse.
