2017 JNS Annual General Meeting and Reception were held on Wednesday, 10 May. We were graced with the presence of our Honorary Patron, Their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Akishino, Mr. Cees Roels, Charge d'Affairs ad interim and Deputy Head of Mission of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Japan and Mrs. Roels.
After the General Meeting, Mr. Junji Mamitsuka, Director of Dejima Restoration office, Deputy Director of Tourism and Culture Department of the Nagasaki City Hall, made a presentation about “Dejima Restoration Project”.
After the presentation by Mr. Mamitsuka, a reception was held. The reception started with the toast of Mr. Frans de Beaufort, Vice President of the JNS, which was followed by the introduction of the new members. Participants enjoyed conversation in a friendly atmosphere with the exquisite meal.
