2015 JNS Annual General Meeting and Reception were held on Wednesday, 13 May. We were graced with the presence of our Honorary Patron, Their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Akishino, and also our Honorary President, His Excellency Mr. Radinck van Vollenhoven, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Mrs. van Vollenhoven.
After the General Meeting, three board members of the Oranda-jima Foundation reported about Oranda-jima House. Each of them explained about “the overview of the support by the Oranda-jima Foundation for the reconstruction of Yamada-machi”, “the character of the architecture and functionality of Oranda-jima House”, and “present use of Oranda-jima House and recent initiatives” showing slide show.
After the report by Oranda-jima Foundation, a reception was held. The reception started with the toast of Mr. Shigeo Oyagi, Vice President of the JNS, and followed by the introduction of the new Corporate and Individual/Family members. Participants enjoyed conversation and the delicious food.
